“The Sentinel” – People of the Susquehanna

The Sentinel - People of the Susquehanna

A cornerstone of the rural community is the volunteer firefighter -- always ready, always willing to pull together when the call arrives. As a former EMS professional (both paid and volunteer), and someone who has had to call on our local department in the past, I have a greater appreciation for the sacrifice and dedication of our local heroes. Thank you for always being there!

People of the Susquehanna is an ongoing photography project which seeks to explore the lives and culture of the Central Susquehanna Valley. These are the faces, these are the people who make up my home.
