Speak No Evil [featured]

Self Portrait – Oftentimes the simplest of words get people into trouble. For some of us, we wait to have something to say until it’s enough to ensure our demise.

This particular setup was rather simple and consisted of:

  • The camera on a tripod utilizing a 10-second timer
  • A 9-foot seamless backdrop, although a smaller, solid backdrop would work just as well
  • A YN-468 (flash unit) at 1/2 power through 46″ umbrella to camera left
  • A Promaster 7000m (flash unit) at 1/4 power through 46″ umbrella to camera right

NOTE: Both lights are facing each other with the subject between the two.
