Well, as I notified the world via Facebook earlier today, I had every intention of exploring a local old, abandoned railroad bridge that spans the river. People seem to think that it’s blocked off and uncrossable, yet I found a brave a soul on Flickr who said it is actually accessible if you are willing to go past the brush and railroad ties blocking the entrance. However… Due to a washing machine malfunction and several other factors, I didn’t end up going. Oh, well… But I am planning on visiting the site tomorrow. It won’t be as late in the evening as I had originally planned, but I should still have some pretty decent lighting.

Also, for those of you who have not shown your social networking support, take a moment and stop by my Facebook page and become a fan. It’s only been a few days, and I’m hanging out right under 200 supporters. So, I am contemplating a special “thank you” to the individual who puts me over that mark…not sure what it will be yet, but I’ll pull something out of chest of treasures.

Again, be sure to stop over and become a fan on Facebook. Who knows, that 200th person and special gift recipient could be you!
